I am setting up a USRobotics Total Control Wide Area Network Hub, with Dual V.32 terbo ANALOG MODEM cards. J&L processor cards are attached to each modem, and are running Reachout Host version 5.0. The remote PCs have USRobitics Sportster 14,000 Fax modems (and Reachout Viewer 5.0) Reachout has the Sportster as a modem choice, but not the Dual V.32 terbo? The ATI4 command listed a modem title of "USRobotics Courier V.32bis Terbo Fax Settings...", so I tried choosing the USR Courier HST for the Reachout HOST. This works, but the USR Sportster will only connect at 2400 bps, which is too slow. ATI4 shows BAUD=19200 on the Dual V.32 modems. What AT commands should be sent to the Dual V.32 terbo so that the Sportsters can connect at at least 9600 bps (or do I need to change the AT commands going to the Sportsters). David P. Dear Ellen, Though I'm sure you're well-intentioned, using the US Robotics listserv for promoting personal or business ventures is ill-advised. There are many newsgroups available for just that purpose. Thank you. For those that have responded to this post. I as listowner have also tried to advise her we don't need this on our list. Unfortunatly, as is usually the case with posts such as this, the return address "Ellen Fox" is probably faked. My mail bounced to her as "no such user". And she certainly is not a member of this list. So I guess there is not alot we can do about it. Hello, Does anyone know if there are plans to support caller id on the total control hub with quad modem cards? Having the ability to send the source number via an snmp trap would be ideal. mark Mark Miller Lead Network Analyst lumm@Lehigh.EDU 183 Computing Center, Bldg #8B lumm@spot.CC.Lehigh.EDU Lehigh University Bethlehem, PA 18015

Caller ID is not supported on analog quad modems. DNIS (dialed number) and/or ANI (caller's number) can be delivered with Digital Quads when used with a T1 or PRI. The ANI information can be sent via a RADIUS accounting message to the accounting server. There is a Solaris based accounting server and also a TCM Windows accounting server (with TCM v3.1.x or later). I don't believe the ANI information can be delivered via an SNMP trap. -John >Does anyone know if there are plans to support caller id on the total >control hub with quad modem cards?
