The Interface Animated Traffic Analysis (INANNA) software is a package
for developing interactive Web-based "weather maps" indicating the
current status of a data network. Both current bandwidth consumption
and error levels can be represented, and the system is designed for
interoperation with the popular MRTG system.

INANNA is currently in use for applications such as monioring the
high-speed Abilene network (http://hydra.uits.iu.edu/~abilene/traffic)
and Indiana University's wide area network
(http://hydra.uits.iu.edu/~traffic/wan).

Before installing and using this software, please read the license
arrangement (found in the file LICENSE in this distribution). Use of
the software constitutes acceptance of this license. In the event
that the license file is missing, a copy can be found at:

All documentation for version 0 of the INANNA system is Web-based.
Please consult the files in doc/ for configuration instructions.

Packages required for a normal application of the ATM:

	Perl 5.004
	UCD SNMP 3.5
	Perl SNMP 1.8a4
	GD 1.3
	Perl GD 1.18
	GIFMerge
	MRTG 2.5.3

In most cases, new versions of these packages should work without any
problems.

(GIFMerge is a little hard to find. The official distribution site is
 at http://www.iis.ee.ethz.ch/~kiwi/GIFMerge/)
