Q00075094: Ethernet Vports
Ethernet Vport does not pass traffic after config via tftp

================================
8. Changes in Previous Releases:
================================

**************************************
* FEATURES ADDED IN PREVIOUS RELEASES:
**************************************
Features added in 4.3.2.0:

CR138676: MPOA
Add MPOA Client Enable Checkbox. The MPOA client may now be
disabled. Disabling the MPOA client prevents the advertisement
of MPOA client addresses in a PNNI environment. The default
	   behavior is MPOA Client Enabled.

CR140193: 1483 Vports
Add support for 64 1483 vports. Up to 64 1483 Vports may now be
	   configured.

CR140194: 1483 Vports
Implement Turbo 1483 vports. Turbo 1483 vports are now supported.
When configuring a turbo 1483 vport, only ethernet vlans which do
not have any other vport members will be available.

CR140760: TFTP Upgrade
	   4.3.2.0 supports a one-step upgrade from 3.2.x to 4.3.2.0. The
3.2.x configuration file must be on the Speedview management PC.
BH5000 switches MUST be running 3.2.4.5+, otherwise the upgrade
	   will not be allowed.

CR142422: Bulk Configuration
Add Port Speed and Connection Mode to Ethernet Bulk Configuration Option.
Port speed and Connection mode are now configurable via the Bulk
Configuration option for the following Ethernet cards: 5625, 5625HD,
	   EtherSpeed II.

Features added in 4.3.1.0:

CR132598: Statistics
Added support for the following new mib objects: cpuClkRate,
	   cpuPctUse and maxRids.

********************************************
* OLD FEATURES REMOVED IN PREVIOUS RELEASES:
********************************************

None.

*****************************************
* PROBLEMS RESOLVED IN PREVIOUS RELEASES:
*****************************************
Problems resolved in 4.3.2.1:

CR149159: MPOA
update check for switch image vers. to determine support of
           MPOA enable checkbox

CR147354: SNMP, BRIDGE GROUPS
OID error in download via SNMP port change in non-sequential
           bridge group

CR146432 ATM
           prevent user from configuring > 16 unique non-zero VPI's
           box-wide per card/port

CR144209: ATM
prevent user from configuring VPI/VCI in conflicting range
           with reserved turbo circuits

Problems resolved in 4.3.2.0:

CR132241: Utilities
Converting 3.x configuration files to 4.x produces configuration files
with incorrect information. This CR fixes two problems in the configuration
utility. Token Ring: SRB/SRT Token ring vports would have a ring number of
FFF. PNNI: The converted configuration file would cause assertion errors
	   in pnni_tdbo.c and pnni_timer.c.

CR134665: Add Card - Token Ring
When adding a Token Ring card via SpeedView, port vlan_id, mac_addr
and port speed are not set correctly

CR135420: Add Card - Ethernet
When adding a Ethernet card to switch with no ethernet stp group,
the ports are not configured correctly.

CR137592: Add Card - Token Ring
When adding a Token Ring card to a configuration that has no existing
Token Ring Spanning Tree Groups, a Spanning Tree Group with STP disabled
was created. However, ports added to this Spanning Tree Group have STP
	   enabled.

CR137954: ATM Statistics
ATM Statistics displays wrong signaling if MDA ports are mixed OCx and
	   ES3/DS3.

CR138155: Boxview
Boxview does not display disabled C100 622 ports correctly.

CR142831: Serial Upgrade
Serial Upgrade from 3.2.4.5 to 3.2.4.11 fails on BH5000.

Problems resolved in 4.3.1.0:

CR 126394: LEC Configuration
Support disabling of TL_LEARP and NoSrc Narp in Lane V1 lec.

CR 129235: PNNI
Deleting PNNI node level causes an endless loop.

CR 132080: Token Ring
Source Route frame forward dynamic change does not work. Changing
Source Route frame forward via SNMP required a reset before the
	    change would become effective.

CR 132594: C100 OC-12c
Speedview Incorrectly reports OC-12c MMF MCP as OC-12c SMF MCP.

CR 133759: IP Configuration
Cannot configure a supernetted class C address via Speedview.

CR 133779: BH5000/TFTP
Abort code upgrade to 4.2.x/4.3.x if the current switch code is
pre-4.1.x to prevent corrupted flash. See 4.2.1.0 release notes
	    for more information.

Problems resolved in 4.2.1.1:

CR 75137: Help File
Help file had wrong definition of the ATM Address in the LEC
	   configuration dialog box.

CR 105708: SNMP
Configuring a switch with SpeedView at the same time from
	   two workstations.

CR 123073: Spv Tools
View Config File generates an Unserialize Error on the
	   Trap_Filter(59) record.

CR 125841: SNMP
Prompt for switch reset after dynamically changing IISP routes
when managing switch code versions 4.0 and earlier.

=====================
9. KNOWN LIMITATIONS:
=====================

CR 139138: VLANS/Online Help
In the section titled "Creating 802.1Q Tagged VLANs", step 7
is incorrect and should be ignored. There is no Tag type in
the VLAN Type drop-down list. Additionally, the same yellow icon
is used to indicate Token Ring and Ethernet VLANs. Ethernet VLANs
are not indicated by a green icon as stated in the help file.

CR 143951: Port Config
When more then 10 vlans exist, VLANs in the drop down list on the
port config dialogs appear to be sorted incorrectly. This is a
function of MS Windows. A work around exists: Rename VLAN1 through
	   VLAN9 to VLAN01 through VLAN09.

CR 144225: SNMP/Save Config to Flash
Occasionally, the following error has been encountered:
"The request to commit the changes failed! (rc=0xFFFFFFDF)" This error
particularly can happen on a switch with Redundant MCPs, and a complex
configuration (large number of Lecs, LES/BUS, and LECS, for example). The
error is due to the save operation taking longer then the SNMP Connection
Timeout setting in SpeedView. To correct this, go to Option/Preferences
and increase the Connection Timeout parameter.
