Selecting devices by type

Optivity Switch Manager lets you select all of the devices on the network map that are of a certain type. You can use this feature to identify devices on the network map, and to locate devices of the available device types.

To select devices by type:

1. On the Optivity Switch Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Select All.

A submenu opens.

2. Choose the device type that you want to select.

Other submenus may open that let you refine your selection.

Optivity Switch Manager highlights the icons for all of the devices of the selected type on the network map. Also, the status bar displays the results of the selection operation .
