Finding a routing interface

Multicast Manager lets you check whether there is a routing interface between the selected device and a target address.

To find a routing interface:

1. In the Multicast Manager navigation pane, choose one of the following:
• DVMRP protocol folder > Routes folder
• Multicast Route protocol folder > Routes folder
2. In the Routes folder, select a device.
3. From Multicast Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Find Route.
4. The Find Route dialog box opens.
5. In the Target Address box, enter the IP address of the target address to which you want to find the routing interface.
6. Click Find.
7. The Routing Interface text in the Find dialog box shows the routing interface, if one is found.
