Use the Download Config/Image to Device dialog box to download configuration files and image files to devices of the following types:

The following table describes the parts of the Download Config/Image to Device dialog box.

Description
TFTP Server
Lets you enter the IP address for the TFTP server for the operation. The default setting is the TFTP server (if any) specified on the Preferences dialog box. For more information, see Preferences dialog box.
ConfigFileName
Lets you choose a configuration file to download. The source directory for the download operation is determined by the settings of the TFTP server. Review the configuration settings of the TFTP server to determine the source directory.
ImageFileName
Lets you choose an image file to download.
450ImageFileName (BPS mix stack)
Lets you choose a BayStack 450 image file to download in mixed stack configurations.
Action
Lets you choose whether to upload an image file or a configuration file.
Prefix IP address for Source File
Use the Prefix IP address for Source File radio buttons to set whether or not you are downloading files according to the IP address appended to the filename:
For example, suppose you have entered "config.cfg" as the filename, and selected the device, 10.160.41.204. File/Inventory Manager will download the file 10_160_41_204_config.cfg to 10.160.41.204.
Download Log file name
Lets you enter the file to which Optivity Switch Manager logs the results of the operation. Click the ... button to browse available files.
Devices list
Lets you select the device to which to download.
Download
Downloads the selected file to the device.
Close
Discards your settings and closes the dialog box.
Help
Opens online Help for File/Inventory Manager.
