Changing the Security Manager password

When you first install Optivity Switch Manager, the default user name and the default password for Security Manager are both "Admin". To protect Security Manager settings from unauthorized access, you should change the password as soon as practical.

To change the Security Manager password:

1. From the Security Manager menu bar, choose Login > Change Password.

A change password dialog box opens.

2. Enter your new user name and password information.
3. Click OK.

Security Manager checks that the new password and the confirmation password match, and changes the user name and password to the new settings.
