Synchronizing security domains

You can use the Security Manager Auditor folder to synchronize the security settings of all of the devices in the security domain with the settings in the Attributes folder. For each tab in the Auditor folder, you can synchronize the domain with settings on the corresponding tab of the Attributes folder.

When synchronizing the security domain, you have two choices for how to deal with devices that have settings that do not match those of the domain:

• Configure the non-matching devices with settings from the security domain
• Remove the non-matching devices from the security domain

To synchronize the security domain:

1. In the navigation pane, open the folder for the security domain for which you want to view security statistics.
2. In the security domain folder, click the icon for the Auditor folder.
3. In the Auditor folder, select the tab for the settings that you want to synchronize.
4. At the bottom of the tab, click Synchronize.

An alert box prompts whether you want to configure non-matching devices with settings from the security domain, or to remove the non-matching devices from the security domain.

5. Choose either option as appropriate and click OK.
