Highlighting devices that exceed security thresholds

You can highlight the Optivity Switch Manager topology map to show which devices currently exceed threshold values for their security domain. You can highlight the map according to any of the security attributes on the security domain property table. For more information about the security domain properties, see Setting security domain properties and Property table.

To highlight devices that exceed security thresholds:

1. On the Security Manager menu bar, choose View > Highlight Topology.

A check mark appears next to the Highlight Topology menu item to show that it is selected.

2. In the navigation pane, open the folder for the security domain for which you want to highlight devices.
3. In the security domain folder, click the icon for the Monitor folder.
4. On the contents pane, click the tab for the security attribute that you want to view.

Optivity Switch Manager highlights the devices on the topology map that currently exceed the threshold value for the attribute on the selected tab.
