Naming a port

You can apply names to any of the UNI or NNI ports on the OM 1200 ESM module.

To name a port:

1. In Device Manager, right-click the port and choose Edit.

The Port dialog box opens with the Interface tab displayed.

2. In the Name box, enter a name for the port.

You can use any combination of numbers, upper- and lower-case letters, and punctuation characters. The name can be up to 64 characters long.

3. Click Apply.
