Enabling PIM-SM on an interface

Before you can enable PIM-SM on a particular interface, you must enable PIM-SM globally.

To enable PIM-SM on an interface:

  1. On the Device Manager, select a port.
  2. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Port.
    3. The Port dialog box opens with the Interface tab displayed.
  3. Click the PIM tab.
    4. The PIM tab opens.
  4. Click Enable.
  5. Click Apply.
