Creating a Spanning Tree group

(Passport 8600 modules only)

To create a spanning tree group:

1. On the Device Manager menu bar, choose VLAN > STG.

The STG dialog box opens, with the Ports tab active.

2. In the Configuration tab, click Insert.

The Insert Configuration dialog box opens.

3. Enter values or select items in the Insert Configuration dialog box.
4. Click Insert.
