Viewing the IPX routing table
To view the IPX routing table:

From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IPX Routing > IPX > Routes. |
| The IPX dialog box opens with the Routes tab displayed. |
The table below describes the fields in the Routes tab.

NetNum
|
The destination IPX network number for this route.
|
Protocol
|
The routing protocol through which this route was learned (local or RIP).
|
Ticks
|
The number of ticks to the destination network. A tick is
1/18th of a second.
|
HopCount
|
The number of hops (passes through a router) required to arrive at the destination network.
|
NextHopCircIndex
|
The IPX circuit index of the next hop router.
|
NextHopNICAddress
|
The network interface card (NIC) address of the next hop router.
|
NextHopNetNum
|
The network number of the next hop router.
