Viewing and managing IP flow

The Flows tab displays the source and destination port information. Use the Flows tab to edit and insert IP flow entries.

To insert an IP flow:

  1. From the main menu, choose IP Routing > IP > Flows.
  2. The IP dialog box opens with the Flows tab displayed.
  3. Click Insert.
  4. The IP, Insert Flows dialog box opens.

The table below describes the Flows tab and IP, Insert Flows dialog box items.


Item Description
SrcIpAddress
The source address of an IP packet.
SrcIpPort
The source port of an IP packet. A zero value in this field is used as a wildcard value.
DstIpAddress
The destination IP address of an IP packet.
DstIpPort
The destination port of an IP packet.
Protocol
The protocol type of an IP packet:
  • ip
  • tcp
  • udp

  1. In the SrcIpAddress box, type the IP address of the packet's source.
  2. In the SrcIpPort box, type the port number.
  3. This number can be between 1 and 65,535, but it must not be a well-known port number.
  4. In the DstIpAddress box, type the IP address.
  5. In the DstIpPort box, type the port number.
  6. In the Protocol check box, select the protocol type (Ip, tcp or udp).
  7. Click Insert.
  8. The IP flow is created in the Flows table.
