System Log tab items
This table describes the System Log tab items on the Diagnostics dialog box.

Enable
|
Used to enable/disable the syslog feature. When enabled, this feature sends a message to a server on a network that is configured to receive and store diagnostic messages from this device. The type of messages sent is user configurable.

MaxHost
|
The maximum number of remote hosts considered active and able to receive messages from the syslog service.
|
OperState
|
The operational state of the syslog service.
