MAC Learning tab

You use several Device Manager tabs to configure and view the allowed MAC table.

Note: You must enable the Unknown MAC Discard feature on the Port Interface dialog box to implement the allowed MAC table features. You can configure the allowed MAC table parameters with the Unknown MAC Discard feature disabled, but you must enable the Unknown MAC Discard feature to activate the allowed MAC table feature.

To enable MAC learning:

1. From the device view, select a port.
2. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Port.

The selected Port dialog box opens with the Interface tab displayed.

3. Click the MAC Learning tab.

The MAC Learning tab opens.
