Enabling RIP on the interface

Use the RIP tab to configure parameters for a virtual router interface or a physical router interface. The RIP tab items for both types of interfaces have the same parameters, and the parameters function the same.

To enable RIP on the interface:

1. Do one of the following:
• Choose VLAN > VLANs > Basic >IP > RIP.

The IP VLAN dialog box opens with the RIP tab displayed.

• Choose Edit > Port > RIP.

The Port dialog box opens with the RIP tab displayed.

2. Select enable.
3. Click Apply.
