Downloading your configuration file

To download and save a configuration file:

1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Chassis.

The Chassis dialog box opens with the System tab displayed.

2. Click the TFTP tab.

The TFTP tab opens.

3. In the Action field, select downloadConfig.
4. In the File field, type the file name.
5. Click Apply to start the transfer.
6. Click Refresh to check the status of the transfer.
7. Save the configuration to NVRAM.
8. Right-click on the graphical representation of the chassis.
9. Select Save.

You can save the configuration to either the active or the standby SSF module. You cannot use the new configuration until the device is reset.
