Enabling RIP on the interface
Use the RIP tab to configure parameters for a virtual router interface or a physical router interface. The RIP tab items for both types of interfaces have the same parameters, and the parameters function the same.
To enable RIP on the interface:
- Do one of the following:
- Choose VLAN > VLANs > Basic >IP > RIP.

- Choose Edit > Port > RIP.
| The Port dialog box opens with the RIP tab displayed. |
- Select enable.
- Click Apply.
