Assign the IP Address

Use the Port -- Insert IP Address dialog box to assign IP addresses.

To assign IP addresses:

1. On a port, choose Edit > Port > IP Address.

The Port dialog box opens, and the IP Address tab is displayed.

2. In the IP Address tab, click Insert.

The Insert IP Address dialog box opens.

3. In the IpAddress field, type the interface IP address.
4. Press the Tab key to automatically enter the default netmask.

You can also edit this field manually.

5. Click Insert.
6. Click Apply.
