Configuring DVMRP

To configure DVMRP:


From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Port > DVMRP.


The Port dialog box opens with the DVMRP tab displayed.

The table below describes the DVMRP tab items.


Item Description
Enable
Select to enable or disable DVMRP on the routing interface.
Metric
The cost in maximum number of hops for DVMRP (between 1 and 31). A default value of 1 means local delivery only. You can use the metric value to control the scope of the DVMRP routes.
