Use the System tab in the Chassis dialog box to specify tracking information for a device and device descriptions.

	Note: Downloading a configuration file overwrites the current configuration file in NVRAM.


Item	Description
sysDescr	The system assigned name.
sysUpTime	The time since the system was last booted.
sysContact	The contact information (in this case, an e-mail address) for the system administrator.
sysName	The name of this device.
sysLocation	The physical location of this device.
Authentication Traps	Enables or disables Authentication Trap settings.
EnableWebServer	Enables or disables Web server settings.
EnableAccessPolicy	Enables or disables Access Policy settings.
LastChange	The time of the last configuration change.
LastVlanChange	The time of the last VLAN change.
LastStatisticsReset	The time the statistics counters were last reset.
LastSaveToNVRAM	The time the last configuration was saved.
LastSaveToStandby NVRAM	The time the last configuration was saved to the NVRAM.
Action	Can be one of the following actions: none hardReset--Resets the device and runs power-on tests. softReset--Resets the device without running power-on tests. saveToNVRAM--Saves the current configuration to NVRAM. resetCounters--Resets all statistic counters. saveToStandbyNVRAM--Saves the current configuration to the standby NVRAM. cpuSwitchOver--Switches control over to the redundant SSF module. checkSwInFlash--Checks the software in flash memory. checkSwInPcmcia--Checks the software on the PCMCIA card. resetConsole--Reinitializes the hardware UART drivers. Use only if the console or modem connection is hung. resetModem--Reinitializes the UART drivers on the modem port. Use only if the console or modem connection is hung.
Result	Displays a message after clicking Apply.
