Item Description
VlanId
The VLAN ID for the VLAN.
GrpAddr
Multicast group address of the multicast stream.
HostAddr
IP address of the host whose membership is controlled.
HostMask
Subnet mask of the host whose membership is controlled.
Mode
You can select the following for the host address:
  • denyTx--deny transmit mode
  • denyRx--deny receive mode
  • denyBoth--deny transmit and receive mode

  1. Type the information.
  2. Click Insert.

Note Note: This window allows you to enter a group address and a target host. You can control the ability to receive from or transmit to a specific multicast group address. However, when applying filters to limit reception of a multicast stream on a segment, you must apply the filter to all eligible receivers on the segment. If not, the host to whom you denied access receives the multicast stream as soon as another host on the segment joins the multicast group.
