Multicast tab
To direct MAC multicast flooding to a specific set of ports, you can set one multicast MAC address as the sole multicast receiver. A multicast MAC floods all ports on the VLAN, or you can define a separate flooding domain, which is a subset of the ports on a VLAN.
To access the Multicast tab:
- From the Device Manager menu bar, choose VLAN > VLANs.

- From the table, select a VLAN.
- Click the Bridge button.

- Click the Multicast tab.

To insert a MAC multicast domain:
- From the Device Manager menu bar, choose VLAN > VLANs.

- Click the Multicast tab.
- In the Multicast tab, click Insert.

Address

The MAC address for the multicast flooding domain.

ForwardingPorts
|
The ports to be included in the multicast flooding domain.

MltIds
|
The MLTs that should be included in the multicast flooding domain.

- In the Address field, type the MAC address for the multicast flooding domain.
- In the ForwardingPorts field, type the ports included in the multicast flooding domain.
- In the MltIds field, type the MLTs that should be included in the multicast flooding domain.
- Click Insert.
