Viewing RADIUS server settings

The Radius Server tab contains information about the RADIUS servers configured.

To view RADIUS server configuration:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Security.
  2. The Security dialog box opens with the Access Policies tab displayed.
  3. Click the Radius Server tab.
  4. The Radius Server tab opens.

Table 14 shows the fields available in the RADIUS Servers tab.


Item Description
Address
Displays the IP address of the RADIUS server.
Priority
Displays the priority of each server, or the order of servers to send authentication.
TimeOut
Displays the time interval before the client retransmits the packet.
Enable
Displays whether the server is enabled or disabled.
MaxRetries
Displays the maximum number of retransmissions allowed.
UdpPort
Displays the UDP port the client uses to send requests to the server.
SecretKey
Identifies the RADIUS authentication client key. This is the password used by the client to be validated by the server.
AccessRequests
Displays the number of access-response packets sent to the server; does not include retransmissions.
AccessAccepts
Displays the number of access-accept packets, valid or invalid, received from the server.
AccessRejects
Displays the number of access-reject packets, valid or invalid, received from the server.
BadResponses
Displays the number of invalid access-response packets received from the server.
PendingRequests
Displays the access-request packets sent to the server that have not yet received a response, or have timed out.
ClientRetries
Displays the number of authentication retransmissions to the server.

Inserting a RADIUS server

To insert a RADIUS server:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Security.
  2. The Security dialog box opens with the Access Policy tab displayed.
  3. Click the Radius server tab.
  4. The Radius server tab opens.
  5. Click Insert.
  6. The Security, Insert Radius Server dialog box opens.
  7. Enter the information required.
  8. Click Insert.
