Optivity Switch Manager status bar
The Optivity Switch Manager status bar is located at the bottom of the Optivity Switch Manager main window. The following table describes the status bar fields.

Located on the left, the message field displays information about the following:
- Menu commands and toolbar buttons
- Optivity Switch Manager and submanager operations

Icon

Located on the right, the icon field displays color coded information about the items viewed in the display window:
- Speed--10M (pink), 100M (blue), and 1G (red)
- Duplex--Half-Duplex (blue) and Full-Duplex (red)
- Linktypes--Ethernet (blue), POS (red), and ATM (green)
