The read-only Root table displays information about the device acting as root within a selected STG.
To view the root table:

In the navigation pane, select Root.

|
IP address of a device in the STG.

BridgeAddress
|
The MAC address used by this bridge when it must be referred to in a unique fashion.

DesignatedRoot
|
The bridge identifier of the root of the spanning tree as determined by the Spanning Tree Protocol as executed by this device. This value is used as the Root Identifier parameter in all Configuration BPDUs originated by this device.

RootCost
|
The cost of the path to the root as seen from this bridge.
|
RootPort
|
The port number of the port that offers the lowest cost path from this bridge to the root bridge.
