TFTP tab
From the TFTP tab you can upload and save your configuration to a TFTP server. Refer to the table for field descriptions.
To upload your configuration to a TFTP server:
- Save the configuration to NVRAM.
- Select uploadConfig from the TFTP window and enter the IP address or name and the file name.
- Click on the Apply button to start the transfer.
- Click on the Refresh button to check the status of the transfer.
To download and save a configuration file:
- From the TFTP window, select downloadConfig and enter the file name.
- Click on the Apply button to start the transfer.
- Click on the Refresh button to check the status of the transfer.
- Save the configuration to NVRAM. Right-mouse click on the graphical representation of the chassis, and select Save.
| You can save the configuration to either the active or the standby SSF module. The new configuration will not be used until the device is reset. |
To download run-time software from the TFTP server:
- From the TFTP window, select downloadSwToFlash to download the software to the flash device or downloadSwToPcmcia to download the software to the PCMCIA card.
- Click on the Apply button to start the transfer.
- Click on the Refresh button to check the status of the transfer.
