Flushing router tables

For administrative and/or troubleshooting purposes, it is sometimes necessary to flush the routing tables. Passport Device Manager enables flushing in two contexts: by VLAN and by port.

• To set flushing by VLAN, choose VLAN > VLANs > Advanced > Action.
• To set flushing by port, choose Edit > Port > Interface > Action.

Once a routing table is flushed, it will not automatically be repopulated. The delay is dependent on the routing protocols in use.
