Editing trap receivers
You can edit how devices receive SNMP traps by editing the community strings and the SNMP version format.
|
Note:
If the Trap Receivers tab takes a long time to open, it may be that the IP address of a trap receiver cannot be resolved to a DNS name. By default, Device Manager attempts to resolve IP addresses to DNS names.

- From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Chassis.
| The Chassis dialog box opens with the System tab displayed. |
