Viewing IGMP snoop forwarding data
When IGMP snooping is enabled, IP multicast packets are forwarded to IGMP group members and router ports instead of flooding the entire VLAN. The Snoop Forwarding tab displays how many IP multicast forwarding destinations are in the table and the corresponding forwarding port list.
To display the current IGMP snooping forwarding table:
- From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IP Routing > IGMP.

- Click the Snoop Forwarding tab.

Identifies the VLAN ID of the VLAN on which the router port resides.

Identifies the group IP address learned from the IGMP packet, on a per VLAN basis.
