Note:
The IGMP Cache option is not supported in Passport 1600 Series Layer 3 switch, Version 1.0. This feature will be supported with the availability of multicast routing with DVMRP.
The IGMP cache shows group entries and related information for IP multicast groups that have hosts requesting data for those groups by sending IGMP reports. The IGMP cache contains information on multicast groups, such as the interfaces where they are required to be received, the last host that sent a report for those groups, and the expected expiry time for those groups.
To view information about IGMP caches:
| The IGMP dialog box opens with the Snoop Globals tab displayed. |
| The IGMP Cache tab opens. |
