Select the route source protocol for the redistribution entry.

Select the route destination protocol for the redistribution entry.

Type
|
Set the OSPF route redistribution metric type. The default is Type 2.
You can select your entry in the Insert, Route Redistribution dialog box. Or, click the "Type" field on the Route Redistribution tab of the Route Redistribution dialog box and select the type from the pulldown menu. Valid values are:
- all
- type-1
- type-2
- internal
- external
- inter-E1
- inter-E2
- extType1
- extType2

Metric
|
This field sets the OSPF route redistribution metric for basic redistribution. The value can be a range between 0 to 16777214. If configured as 0, the original cost of the route is used. For RIP route redistribution to OSPF, the metric value has a range from 0-16.
