Bind the template rule to the VLAN

Once you have configured the template mode, flow classifiers, and template rule, you need to bind the template rule to the VLAN. Note that you can only bind one template ID to a VLAN.

To bind the template rule:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IP Routing > Filter.
    2. The ACL dialog box opens with the Template Mode tab displayed.
  2. Click the Bind VLAN tab.
    3. The Bind VLAN tab opens.
  3. Click Insert to insert a bind VLAN.
    4. The ACL, Insert Bind VLAN dialog box opens.
  4. Select either 1 or 2 as the TemplateId.
  5. Click the ellipsis button.
    6. The VlanName selection box opens.
  6. Select the appropriate VLAN and then click OK.
  7. Click Close to exit the ACL, Insert Bind VLAN dialog.
  8. Click Close to return to the main Device Manager window.
