Configuring the flow classifiers

By default, the l4-switch classifier is used for Template 1. When configuring the l4-switch template mode, there are thee types of sessions available.

• TCP Session
• UDP Session
• Other Session

By default, the QoS classifier is used for Template 2. An incoming packet must meet the following characteristics:

• 802.1p
• DSCP
• IP
• TCP
• UDP

To configure the flow classifiers:

1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IP Routing > Filter.

The ACL dialog box opens with the Template Mode tab displayed.

2. Click the Flow Classifier tab.

The Flow Classifier tab opens.

3. Configure the l4-switch flow classifier as follows:
1. Click the desired session field.
2. Click true or false in the selection menu that appears.
4. Configure the QoS flow classifier as follows:
1. Click the QosFlavor field.
2. Click the desired flavor from the selection menu that appears.
5. Click Close to return to the main Device Manager window.
