Enabling IP forwarding globally

In Device Manager, the IP address of a virtual router interface can be used for IP-based network management (SNMP, Telnet, and Web).

To enable IP forwarding:

  1. From the Device Manager menu bar, choose IP Routing > IP.
    2. The IP dialog box opens with the Globals tab displayed.
  2. Select forwarding in the Forwarding check box.
  3. Click Apply.
