BootP/DHCP Globals tab fields


Field Description
BootpState
Enables or disables BootP/DHCP on the switch. The default is disable.
BootpHopCount
Sets the maximum number of hops before a BootP/DHCP packet is discarded (1 to 16). The default is 4.
BootpTimeThreshold
The "secs" field in the BootP/DHCP packet header represents the elapsed time since the client first sent the message. If the "secs" field in the packet header is greater than this value, the switch relays or forwards the packet; otherwise, the packet is dropped. The default is 0 seconds.
