Configure Priority tab fields


Field Description
Type
This field defines what service priority type criteria an incoming packet must meet. One or more of the following values must be defined:
  • dscp
  • 802.1p
  • tcp
  • udp
  • ip
  • mac
Value
This field contains a user defined numeric value that is dependent upon the service priority type criteria. Valid numeric ranges are the following:
  • dscp - Differentiated Services Code Point, (enter a valid range from 0 to 63, zero being the lowest priority)
  • 802.1p - IEEE 802.1p priority tag, (enter a valid range from 0 to 7, zero being the lowest priority)
  • tcp - TCP port number, (enter a valid range from 0 to 65535)
  • udp - UDP port number, (enter a valid range from 0 to 65535)
  • ip - IP address, (enter a valid IP address)
  • mac - MAC address, (enter a valid MAC address)
ReplaceDscpState
This field indicates that a new DSCP value should be assigned. To assign a new DSCP value, select enabled.
ReplaceDscp
This field contains the new value to be written to the DSCP field of an incoming packet that meets the match criteria.
PriortyState
This field indicates if a new priority value should be assigned. To assign a new priority value, select enabled.
Priority
This field contains the new value to be written to the IEEE 802.1p bit priority field of an incoming packet that meets the match criteria.
ReplacePriority
This field indicates the IEEE 802.1p bit user priority with the priority specified will be replaced.
