MPLS Tunnel Group tab fields


Field Description
Id
Assigns an ID to the tunnel group.
DestAddr
Configures the destination address of the tunnel group.
PrimaryTunnel
Allows you to configure one or more primary tunnels to the associated tunnel group, and to assign a priority value to the specified tunnel. The priority value is an integer value in the range 0 to 127.
To configure a tunnel (or to modify an existing tunnel) for a tunnel group:
  • Select addTunnel (or remTunnel) from the Operations field pull-down menu.
  • Double-click the PrimaryTunnel field (the field is highlighted).
  • Enter the tunnelId/priority value, or select an existing tunnelId/priority value (for example, 5/50,1/100). Use a comma to separate multiple tunnels.
  • Click Apply.
Note: If you choose to remove a tunnel, the system prompts you with a system message to confirm your choice.
BackupTunnel
Allows you to configure one or more backup tunnels to the associated tunnel group, and to assign a priority value to the specified tunnel. The priority value is an integer value in the range 0 to 127.
To configure a tunnel (or to modify an existing tunnel) for a tunnel group:
  • Select addTunnel (or remTunnel) from the Operations field pull-down menu.
  • Double-click the BackupTunnel field (the field is high-lighted).
  • Enter the tunnelId/priority value, or select an existing tunnelId/priority value (for example, 5/50,1/100). Use a comma to separate multiple tunnels.
  • Click Apply.
Note: If you choose to remove a tunnel, the system prompts you with a system message to confirm your choice.
Operation
Indicates the current operation. Double-clicking this field enables any of the following operations:
  • none - performs no operation.
  • addTunnel - adds a tunnel to the tunnel group. In the PrimaryTunnel field or the BackupTunnel field, specify the tunnelId/priority of the tunnel that you want to add.
  • remTunnel - removes a tunnel from the tunnel group. In the PrimaryTunnel field or the BackupTunnel field, remove the numbers of the tunnels that you want to keep and leave the number of the tunnel that you want to remove.
PersistentFlag
Enables or disables the tunnel group persistent flag.
  • true enables the flag.
  • false disables the flag.
