The Remote Network Monitoring (RMON) MIB is an interface between the RMON agent on a Baystack 425 Switch and an RMON management application, such as the Device Manager.
The RMON agent defines objects that are suitable for the management of any type of network, but some groups are targeted for Ethernet networks in particular.
The RMON agent continuously collects statistics and proactively monitors switch performance. You can view this data through the Device Manager.
