Use the Trap Receivers tab of the Chassis dialog box to view and edit the list of devices that will receive SNMP traps from the OPTera OM 1200 ESM module. You can use this tab to add devices to the list. The list can contain a maximum of four entries.
Unlike some other devices managed by Device Manager, The OM 1200 ESM module does not automatically add every Device Manager station to the list.
The following table describes the parts of the Trap Receivers tab.
Indx
Shows you the index number for the trap receiver table entry.
NetAddr
Lets you view and edit the address (or DNS hostname) for the trap receiver.
Community
Lets you view and edit the Community string used for trap messages to this trap receiver.
Apply
Applies the settings and information to the device.
Refresh
Refreshes the settings and information from the device.
Insert
Opens the Insert Trap Receivers dialog box to let you insert a new trap receiver entry into the table.
Delete
Deletes the selected trap receiver from the table.
Copy
Copies the selected table cell to the clipboard.
Paste
Pastes the selected table cell onto the clipboard.
Reset Changes
Resets the parameters on the current tab to their previous settings. This command is only available for the Agent tab and the Trap receivers tab.
Export Data
Saves the trap receivers list as a tab-delimited text file.
Print Table
Prints the trap receivers list.
Close
Closes the Chassis dialog box.
Help
Opens online Help for the current tab of the Chassis dialog box.
