LAN Services QoS tab

Use the LAN Services QoS tab of the OEL2 dialog box to configure OEL2 LAN services QoS settings. For more information, see Configuring LAN service QoS parameters for a transparent domain.

The following table describes the parts of the LAN Services QoS tab.


Part Description
Port
Identifies the port to which the entry applies.
TDIndex
Shows the Transparent Domain in which to classify frames matching the key for this table entry.
Committed Rate
Lets you set the steady state data rate of this port in Megabits per second. Default value for this should be set to 1/10th of the line rate. Value can be incremented by one.
BurstRate
Lets you set the Burst Rate in Megabits per second. For OPE it will always be line rate.
MaxBurstDuration
Shows the maximum allowable burst duration in milliseconds. The token bucket mechanism always permits traffic bursts at line rate.
BucketSize
Lets you choose from among the available token bucket sizes. Use this feature to choose from among the valid choices after changing the Rate or BurstRate values.
Apply
Applies the settings to the device.
Refresh
Refreshes the settings and information from the device.
Copy
Copies the selected cells to the clipboard.
Paste
Pastes the contents of the clipboard onto the selected location.
Reset changes
Restores the settings to their original values.
Export Data
Saves a table of data as a tab-delimited text file.
Print Table
Prints a table of data.
Close
Closes the dialog box.
Help
Opens online Help for the current tab of the OEL2 dialog box.
