Use the Insert TD Continuity dialog box from the TD Continuity tab to add or modify TD Continuity tests.
The following table describes the parts of the Insert TD Continuity dialog box.
TestId
Enter the test number you want for this test.
TDI
Enter the number of the TDI you want for this test.
SrcPortIP
Enter the IP address for the source port.
DstPortIP
Enter the IP address for the destination port.
PktPriority
Enter the priority to use; the range is 0-7
PktTimeout
Enter the number of seconds to wait for a response packet. If a response packet is not received within this time, the test will timeout (fail).
Protocol
This will always be OEL2.
TimeTrace
Select one of the following:
Action
Select one of the following:
Name
Enter the name you want for this test.
MulticastCnt
Enter the number of multicast packets to send for this test.
UnicastCnt
Enter the number of unicast packets to send for this test.
PeriodicRate
Enter the interval in minutes at which you want the periodic TD Continuity test to execute.
NOTE: The range is 0 to 1440 minutes, which is one day.
PeriodicCount
Enter the number of times you want the periodic TD Continuer test to execute.
NOTE: If you enter 0, it will execute forever.
HistoryCnt
Enter the number of history entries you want to allocate for this test.
NOTE: The total number of all history entries across all tests on a single switch is 900.
Delay
Enter the threshold delay time you want for the round-trip time.
SnmpTrapControl
Enables sending SNMP trap if an error is present or if the round-trip time threshold is exceeded.
ClearHistoryAction
Select one of the following:
Insert
Returns you to TD Continuity tab with new/modified test displayed.
Close
Closes the dialog box.
Help
Opens online Help for the current tab of the OEL2 dialog box.
