TD Continuity tab

Use the TD Continuity tab of the OEL2 dialog box to configure and run TD Continuity testing and to display test results.

The following table describes the parts of the TD Continuity tab.


Part Description
TestId
Displays the test number for each test.
TDI
Displays the number of the TDI for this test.
SrcPortIP
Displays the IP address for the source port.
SrcPortNumber
Displays the port number for the source port.
DstPortIP
Displays the IP address for the destination port.
DstPortNumber
Displays the port number for the destination port.
PktPriority
Displays the priority for the packet.
PktTimeout
Displays the number of seconds to wait for a response packet.
Protocol
This will always be OEL2.
TestType
Displays the measure you are testing:
  • multicastAndUnicast
  • multicast
  • unicast
TimeTrace
Displays the measure you are testing:
  • basic--no time, no trace
  • time--measures round-trip time
  • trace--measures information on the trace
Priority
Displays the priority you set for the test.
PriOpePkt
Displays the priority set for the OPE packets.
Action
Displays the current action of the test.
Name
Displays the name you assigned test.
MulticastCnt
Displays the multicast packets.
UnicastCnt
Displays the unicast tests.
PeriodicRate
Displays the interval in minutes that the periodic TD Continuity test executes.
PeriodicCount
Displays the number of times the periodic TD Continuer test executes.
HistoryCnt
Displays the number of history entries allocated for this test.
Delay
Displays the threshold you set for the round-trip time.
SnmpTrapControl
Displays if SNMP trap is sent when an error is present and when the round-trip time threshold is exceeded.
ClearHistoryAction
Displays the setting you set for this.
Scheduled
Displays if further testing is scheduled.
CurrentPeriodicCount
Displays the number of periodic test still to be run.
History
Opens the TD Continuity History tab to display history entries for TD Continuity testing.
Apply
Applies changes to the device.
Refresh
Refreshes the settings and information from the device.
Insert
Opens the TD Continuity dialog box to add or modify TD Continuity tests.
Delete
Deletes entries from the table.
Copy
Copies the selected table cell to the clipboard.
Paste
Pastes the contents of the clipboard onto the selected location.
Reset changes
Restores the settings to their original values.
Export Data
Saves a table of data as a tab-delimited text file.
Print Table
Prints a table of data.
Close
Closes the dialog box.
Help
Opens online Help for the current tab of the OEL2 dialog box.
