Policing tab

Note: You set the type of policing you want using the LAN Ports tab, under the Edit > Ports menu.

Use the Policing tab of the OEL2 dialog box to display and edit policing parameters.

The following table describes the parts of the Policing tab.

Part Description
IfIndex
Displays the port number.
TDIndex
Displays the TD associated with each port.
CoSIndex
Displays the default priority (0 to 7) for each port.
SharedPriority
Displays the shared priority for that port.
SharedPort
Displays the other ports in the byGroupOfUniEnabled policing group.
Enabled
Displays whether policing is enabled or not:
  • true--enabled
  • false--disabled
Rate
Displays the committed rate you assigned.
BurstRate
Displays the burst rate you assigned.
MaxBurstDuration
Displays the maximum burst duration you chose.
Edit
Allows you to modify the policing parameters and enable or disable policing.
Apply
Applies the settings and information to the device. This command button is only enabled when settings have been changed.
Refresh
Refreshes the settings and information from the device.
Copy
Copies the selected table cell to the clipboard.
Paste
Pastes the selected table cell onto the clipboard.
Reset Changes
Resets the parameters on the current tab to their previous settings.
Export Data
Saves the data as a tab-delimited text file.
Print Table
Prints the table list.
Close
Closes the Port dialog box.
Help
Opens online Help for the current tab of the Port dialog box.
