Config/Image/Diag file tab

Use the Config/Image/Diag file tab of the File System dialog box to download software, binary configuration file, or diagnostics file.

The following table describes the parts of the Config/Image/Diag file tab.


Part Description
TftpServerAddress
Lets you set the IP address of the TFTP server for the binary configuration file, the image file, and/or the diagnostics file. If not used, then the value is 0.0.0.0.
BinaryConfigFilename
Lets you set the name of the binary configuration file currently associated with the module. When not used, the value is a zero length string.
ImgFileName
Lets you set the name of the of the image file(s) currently associated with the module. When the object is not used, the value is a zero length string.
FwFileName(Diag)
Lets you set the name of the of the firmware diagnostics file you want to download to the module. When the object is not used, the value is a zero length string.
Action
Lets you select whether to download or upload a binary config file, image file, or diagnostics file, or download the image only if it is newer that the image stored on local NV storage. In read operation, if there is no action taken since the boot up, it will return with a value of other. Otherwise, it will return the latest action such as:
  • other
  • dnldConfig
  • dnldImg
  • upldConfig
  • dnldFw
  • dnldImgIfNewer
Status
Shows the status of the latest action; the values that can be read are:
  • other -- if no action taken since the boot up
  • inProgress -- the operation is in progress
  • success -- the operation succeeds.
  • fail -- the operation failed.
Apply
Applies the settings and information to the device.
Refresh
Refreshes the settings and information from the device.
Close
Closes the FileSystem dialog box.
Help
Opens online Help for the FileSystem dialog box.
