Use the System tab of the Chassis dialog box to view and edit system settings for the chassis.
The following table describes the parts of the System tab.
sysDescr
The assigned system name.
sysUpTime
The time since the system was last booted.
sysContact
Type the contact information (in this case, an e-mail address) for the system administrator.
sysName
Type the name of this device.
sysLocation
Type the physical location of this device.
Authentication traps
Click enable or disable. When you select enabled, SNMP traps are sent to trap receivers for all SNMP access authentication. When you select disabled, no traps are received.
To view traps, click the Trap toolbar button.
ReBoot
Action object to reboot the agent.
NextBootMgmtProtocol
The transport protocol(s) to use after the next boot of the agent.
CurrentMgmtProtocol
The current transport protocol(s) that the agent supports.
BootMode
The source from which to load the initial protocol configuration information to boot the module the next time, local (from the module), or net (over the network), or none.
ImageLoadMode
The source from which to load the agent image at the next boot.
CurrentImageVersion
The version number of the agent image that is currently used on the module.
LocalStorageImageVersion
The version number of the agent image that is stored in flash memory on the module.
NextBootDefaultGateway
The IP address of the default gateway for the agent to use after the next time the module is booted.
CurrentDefaultGateway
The IP address of the default gateway that is currently in use.
NextBootLoadProtocol
The transport protocol to be used by the agent to load the configuration information and the image at the next boot.
LastLoadProtocol
The transport protocol last used to load the image and configuration information on the module.
s5ChasTmpSnrTempValue
Shows the temperature within the OM 1000 ESM module.
s5ChasBrdDateCode
Shows the date of manufacture of the board in the MMDDYYYY format.
Apply
Applies the settings and information to the device. This command button only appears on tabs with configurable settings, and is only enabled when settings have been changed.
Refresh
Refreshes the settings and information from the device.
Close
Closes the Chassis dialog box.
Help
Opens online Help for the current tab of the Chassis dialog box.
