Testing using TD Continuity

To configure and run TD Continuity testing, as well as displaying the results:

1. To configure and execute TD Continuity tests, in Device Manager choose Application > OEL2.

The OEL2 dialog box opens with the UNI IP Subnetting tab displayed.

1. Click the TD Continuity tab to bring it to the front.
2. Click the Insert button.

The Insert TD Continuity dialog box opens.

3. Enter the information in the fields.
4. In the Action field, click one of the following to set the execution of the test:
• none--test configuration saved but not executed now
• start--configured test begins executing
• startPeriodic--test configured to run periodically
• abort--stops test executing at the time
• abortPeriodic--stops the periodic execution of the test
1. Click Insert.
2. To display test results, in Device Manager choose Application > OEL2.

The OEL2 dialog box opens with the UNI IP Subnetting tab displayed.

1. Click the TD Continuity tab to bring it to the front.
2. Highlight the row that contains the test you want.
3. Click History.

The TD Continuity History tab opens and you view the test results.

3. To delete a test or tests, in Device Manager choose Application > OEL2.

The OEL2 dialog box opens with the UNI IP Subnetting tab displayed.

1. Click the TD Continuity tab to bring it to the front.
2. Highlight the row(s) that contains test(s) you want to delete.
3. Click Delete.
