Configuring mapped NNI

To display or configure mapped NNI settings:

  1. In Device Manager, highlight the NNI port, right-click and choose Edit.
  2. The OEL2 dialog box opens with the UNI IP Setting tab displayed.
  3. Click the Mapped NNI tab to bring it to the front.
  4. The mapped NNI settings are displayed on the table
  5. Click the Insert button.
  6. The Insert Mapped NNI dialog box opens.
    1. Enter the TDI number you want.
    2. Enter the tag value, from 1 to 4096, you want.
    3. Click Insert.
  7. To delete a mapped NNI setting, open the Mapped NNI tab.
    1. Highlight the row you want to delete.
    2. Click Delete.
  8. To display and configure customer traffic default VID and management traffic default VID, select the NNI port, and choose Edit.
  9. The Port dialog box opens with the Interface tab displayed.
    1. Click the LAN Ports tab to bring it to the front.
    2. In the CustDefaultFramesTag field, enter the VID number you want for the default VID.
    3. Enter a value from 1 to 4094, or 4096 for untagged traffic.
    4. In the MgmtFramesTag field, enter the VID number you want for the default VID.
    5. Enter a value from 1 to 4094, or 4096 for untagged traffic.
