LAN Ports tab

The LAN Ports tab of the Port dialog box lets you view and edit interface settings for the selected port.

The following table describes the parts of the LAN Ports tab.


Part Description
Port
Identifies the port.
ServiceType
Lets you set the service type for the port. Valid settings are:
  • transparent
  • mapped
  • tls-nni
DefaultPriority
Lets you change the 802.1P priority to be assigned to incident frames having no such priority of their own.
Note: For NNI ports, the DefaultPriority is read-only.
PolicingState
Lets you to enable policing and set the policing type for the port. Valid settings are:
  • disabled
  • byPortEnabled--for transparent service ports only
  • byAllTDEnabled--for mapped service ports only
  • bySomeTDEnabled--for mapped service ports only
  • bySomeCosEnabled
  • byGroupOfUniEnabled--for transparent service ports only
CustDefaultFramesTag
Enter the default VID you for customer traffic.
Enter 1 to 4094; 4096 for untagged traffic.

MgmtFramesTag
Enter the default VID you for management traffic.
Enter 1 to 4094; 4096 for untagged traffic.

IpAddress
Lets you set the IP address of the interface.
Mode
Displays the mode of the interface.
TDStateChangeNotifEnabled
Enables or disables the tlsTDStateChanged Notification for this port.
QueueNumber
Shows the number of (scheduler) queues supported on this interface. The range is integers 1..8. (Read only)
Apply
Applies the settings and information to the device. This command button is only enabled when settings have been changed.
Refresh
Refreshes the settings and information from the device.
Close
Closes the Port dialog box.
Help
Opens online Help for the current tab of the Port dialog box.
